The sad news of the passing of Officer Jordan Sheldon’s K9 partner has just been reported.

Officer Sheldon was a member of the Mooresville Police Department. The North Carolina Police Officer was murdered during a traffic stop on May 4, 2019.  

At the time of the death of Officer Sheldon, his previous K9 partner Loki had retired. Following his death, the officer’s family brought Loki to their home. Loki spent the rest of his years there until his passing.

The community has supported Loki since Officer Sheldon’s death.
